Auto-logout exploit?

It's a tad bit more convenient and it doesn't really hurt anyone else currently. That's one good reason. It's nice to be able to sit down and not have to wait those few extra seconds to log in just like it's nice to have a computer that boots up in 15 seconds instead of 30.

But even if there isn't a a good reason, why does it matter? It's what people want to do. If they aren't hurting anyone else in the process, leave them alone.

There are so many ways to circumvent the auto logout without even running any kind of "macro" or "bot" its kind of funny

you can bypass it just by clicking on an npc and leaving the menu/whatever up, lol

It affects people because people can't login, if enough people do it then the 1017 error will return. It will also increase lag issues on the server. I was still getting the 1017 error before the AFK people were kicked. And I mean for like 10-20 mins... Then AFK people went and I could login better.

Is this still an issue anymore? I think the login errors have pretty much disappeared, so who cares about auto logout anymore?

Because bot-mining and being AFK in a town clearly have the same impact on other people. People AFK'ing has absolutely no impact on anybody at all except the people doing it. Bot-mining affects EVERYONE. Not the same thing. AT ALL.

It affects me by having stupidly high lag in towns and 'outposts' because TONS of people standing around AFK. After they added the 30 min kick system it was fantastic in towns. No clicking the crystal 15 times to get the menu to warp somewhere.
