Old Housing idea Thread...show yourself!

i found this old thread i started a while back in 1.21, and with 2.1 and housing almost around the corner i tough it would be nice to revive it from its almost a year slumber. there are some awesome ideas in it.

Ah yes housing...my favorite part of an MMO...I would like to list the most important features for me:
1-Interactive furniture (beds you can sleep in, chairs you can sit in)
2-Dye tubs for furniture
3-Chest/cabinets/furny for storage
4-Ability to place items on ground/furny that you found questing
5-Gardening
6-Fishing in waters on your land
7-Harvesting resources from your land

As I have posted a forum myself for this specific idea, I'll repeat it here. I'd like to pitch in an idea for a type of Jukebox for the music tracks of A Realm Reborn. A box that will unlock music tracks due to progression through the game. A track will not unlock unless you've heard of it once before (to avoid unnecessary spoilers). This jukebox will be stationed in FC housing, Inns, Bars, etc. To all you music lovers out there!

this is nice and you set the sound track of your house so when you enter it loads the chocobo song, or garudas battle song, or.. shuffle!

aquariums are initially empty and you get the fish from fishing/Markets and the bigger the aquiarium the bigger the capacity to have more fishies.. or a bigger fish
small aquarium = 3 small/1 medium fish
medium aq. = 5 small/2 medium fish
large aq = 10 small/5 medium/1 Large
and you can mix small medium fish playing with available fish capacity
HQ fishes look different and more colorful/shinier than NQ fish!

Id like to see the full abilities that swg had near the end of game, it really allowed the user to be truly creative and turn anything into something: turn furniture upside down, full rotation ability, I made the death star trench run out of the xwing and tie fighter minatures from the vet rewards with the glow sticks dancers could craft, the structure blocks to create the "surface and trench" and crafting tool for the turrets with table end pieces turned upside down to help create the turret part as well, took up a whole room in the bunker house was fun.

This a 100 times. I want to recreate the tropical Jacuzzi I made out of god knows what so much random stuff lol.

I just need it to be as modular as possible so that houses can be customized as much as possible. Maybe even have an instanced version of your housing district's instance be visible through the windows --or, use that selfsame instance to give us real, functional backyards that we can put things in. I don't care if other players can't see my awesome backyard--I just want one.
