There are definitely some really great and fun ideas in this thread. I'm happy to hear everyone is looking forward to housing so much!

To boost your excitement even more, check out some of the furniture we have planned! (Though, please understand I can't promise these will be implemented right away.)

Thank you Camate! I look forward to housing and I think function is important. The more items that can be utilized by characters in some form of action or utility, the better. Usable furniture and decorations is what I mean. Even simple things like the ability to "/look at a painting", open a drawer, place a table decoration, eat food at a table and see a response is fun.

Yep I spent too much time playing sims3 and "moodlets", I know.

I can't wait for housing! One idea i have is that you can have pets! Maybe you can name your Minions and when you don't have them following you, they'll be in your house! Maybe even make it selective, that you can have a max of, say, 5 minions chillin at your house, wandering around. Maybe even have certain objects that your minions will play with! Minion pet house, minion bed, Minon ball, etc.
Also we need a backyard! Perhaps even implement a gardening skill or something.

I'd like to see this as well. And perhaps even the possibility of taming several monsters so we can catch our own pets. I'd really like one of those cute ornery karakul from coerthas central highlands as a pet.

What I want to see is furniture that is linked to a certain craft. Ever since I saw the basement in the M-sized house, I'm dreaming to make that room into my character's smithing spot. So what I really want to see as furniture are...

- Large smithing furnace like the one in the black/armorsmith guild
- Anvils
- Leather tanning spot
- Workbench
- Trench with water for cooling down the metal.
- Grindstone
- etc...
(honestly I want what Skyrim has at every smithing/crafting spot lol)

And possibly do the same thing for every other crafting class.

I also want a damn shower! I know we get bathtubs and I'm glad we're getting them but I still prefer a shower.
Also some way to have the same large window that can be found in the Limsa Inn. I want that window in my future house!
