Maintenance Schedule

SE done something totally impossible. Messed up EU and US playtime with one single maintenance. Before it were either EU or US players angry, but now, they got hit it their main game time, we got hit at 11pm, so it's not good idea too.

For North American players, are you bascially saying that you do not social at all on Friday night?

Wow, lots of people hating on the open here. Yes, it's only two hours, but the issue at hand here is the time frame, not the amount of time it takes. 4pm to 6pm PST is around the time everyone on the west coast USA gets off work and school. Everyone else in the us is already playing mostly (prime time) EU players would be in the very late night or early morning durring this time period and so most of them would be largely unaffected.

If they would move the maintenance to 3pm Tokyo time, that would be about 2am on the eastcoast us, and about? 7 to 11am depending on where in the EU someone is.this scenario would have the maintenance take place away from prime time and have the Japanese employees out of work (or at least done with maintenance) around 5pm their time.

Given that this seems possible, why would you interupt prime time?

Probably because they also need to have leeway for extensions.

Who is picking these times? Because someone should seriously be fired from their job. You guys have already screwed us NA players out of countless hours of peak game time and you are still doing it. Learn to schedule this at appropriate times. It's not that hard since you are claiming you are monitoring the servers so closely. I can tell you my server has a que during this time of the day so maybe you guys should do it earlier. or much later.

Again, NA is not the center of the universe...don't speak for the rest of us. and its only 2 hours...do you really feel "screwed"? You might have bigger issues then...just saying...

How is EU play time messed up? its 12am to 2am GMT+1/BST on a weekday people who have work will easily be asleep by then and people who don't have work won't be too bothered because its 12 to 2 in the morning.

Well, the maintenance is Thursday night for US, but....

I DO go out on Friday nights, why, just last Friday night, my friends and I went hiking in Coerthas.

I'm gonna go ahead and savor the fact that I'll be at work until exactly when that maintenance is scheduled to be over... because starting next week, I start working days so if they do this again it'll affect me.

Granted, I'd probably just take the time to work on the last two PS3 games I need to finish before the PS4 comes out anyway >_>

lol at the 7-9 est on a Friday. Granted I'm usually at the bar till 8 or 9 after class on Fridays but still. It's a NA/EU center, should be 2am-4am (PST), which should give 5-7am EST, and something like 11am-1pm EU time. Prime time avoided!

Why not 3-5 am EU time?
NA players have already the better latency. Give the EU players the best maintenance time ^^
