The reason I prefer tomestones versus random drops is because the players hardship actually pays off in the end. Instead of some random dude doing one run and getting his weapon on one try (Especially when its some dude who was carried through the battle and did little effort) versus someone who did the same run 50 times with high success rates and still didn't get his weapon. I don't see how that is fair. Also how can the person who got his weapon on his first try consider this weapon as a "trophy"? How can something that is randomly given to you without any effort be any sort of achievement? I really don't understand people mindset on the whole love for RNG in their games and believe its something that makes it challenging or fun.
