if you were a SCH with no access to a raiding FC, what would you do after capping the 300 Myth / week?
- level 1-2 DoL
- level 1-2-n DoH
- level a monk / war / brd
- stick to SCH and make more money selling tomes (why would I want money?...)
- anything else?

Do all of them and mix them up a little to experience everything the game has to offer. So many people have rushed 1 class to 50 and said "Done! Finished!" when in reality you've just burnt yourself out on that 1 class. I did it on my first 50 but that really isn't the end of the game at all and every single class is useable and beneficial regardless of what you choose first. Variation will always post-pone boredom and will easily make this game last a month or 2.

For the ones that actually give a f*** my play time is 1-2 hours / day, and I want to use it as best I can to prepare for the future patch.

I play 1-2 hours a day and sometimes 6+ hours if I have the chance. What I did was get THM to 26, and then slowly use up leves for some DoL. I dunno what your aim is, but I kind of want in the long run to get all classes eventually to 50, that and I'm using my leves which almost always goes to over 100. I also do titan/garuda a lot for fun, and help around people in FC for story quests boss.

Get Swiftcast from THM (level 26) and Stoneskin from CNJ (level 34).

How about getting all classes to at least 30? That way you can unlock all jobs and when new jobs are put in the game you will already meet the lvl 15 requirement to unlock the new job plus you will have all cross skills up to level 30. After that I would level a DOL and DOH together.

If you want to play FFXIV, feel free to do so ! There's plenty to do. Level up some Battle Classes. Maybe you'd like playing a melee character ? Maybe you'd like to tank ? It's the perfect time to try a new role, since it's pretty early in the game. Then, you could level up one of your DoL or DoH to make some gil to gear your main class ?

You can also try to get a Coils pug, and do one turn at a time ? With a good group, Turn 1 might take like one hour, then Turn 2 another hour or so. And even if you can't kill it, you can always get some practice ?
