    Hard Mode for old dungeons, and Boss challenge mode

    Anyone else want to see something like this?

    I'm sure others would be interested in doing some of the old dungeons, but with level 50 mobs and content. It could be a good way to keep all the content used. Some dungeons are just FUN, but not played because they're out of level range.

    Additionally, with this in mind I would love to see a mode where you fight all the dungeon / FATE bosses in succession (at level 50), just to see how far you can get. No trash, just bosses, one after another, with either a short break, or no breaks in-between. I'm sure I've seen some FF games where towards the end you have to re-fight the bosses you defeated previously.

    Not quite sure how feasible this is, but it's been bouncing about in my head for the last day or so, so thought I'd throw it out into the chaos that is the General Forums to see your thoughts or suggestions.

    Theres the argument of the dungeon level cap is 'challenging' to that particular level....but what you are suggesting could be good.

    I think lower level dungeons become redundant, so maybe a hard mode or challenge mode could ignite an even spread among all dungeons

    I'm for and against this sort of thing. For because it would give people more stuff to do at level cap as well as an additional source of tomes. Against because the intent of level capping dungeons is in part to facilitate level capped players taking part in dungeons they outleveled. It's a tough call, really.

    * The sad thing is that FFXIV turned RDM into a turret, and people think that's what it's supposed to be. It's supposed to combine sword and magic into something more, not spend the bulk of gameplay spamming spells and jump into melee for only 3 GCDs before scurrying back to the back line like good little casters.
