More like completely and utterly ridiculous... I thought the whole point of leveling a craft was so that you could profit and make better gear for yourself? Instead, you're better off just getting Darklight because of the time it would take otherwise... If you're a pure crafter (as in, you don't really like combat content) you're basically shit out of luck, too... I'm sure this is something that will change with time, but Potash is going for a steady 80k on the Market Boards last I checked... In 1.0 that'd be 800k, in 1.0 you could by it from a NPC for just over 20k, in 1.0 you didn't need nine times the amount either. Retarded doesn't even begin to describe this...

Honestly, as someone who really enjoys crafting, this is extremely frustrating. I'd love to hear how this is "working as intended" from a community rep or something. I honestly think the NPC should be selling 10 of the item for 125 stones, either that or just one of the item should be required again... Heck, 1 Potash and 9 Twinthread would be a preferable alternative to this lunacy... Although it is technically impossible, you can lose mats while crafting. You can fail getting high quality. You can lose a lot of Gil in forbidden materia melds... Heck, you have to level the craft to 50 in the first place, all that and what are you rewarded with? "Lol you could have gotten full Darklight for those pants".
