Hacking teleporting gatherers

How are people teleporting from node to node while in stealth mode? Most of them I see are in level 1-10 gear but much higher in level.

Is this an intended way to work? Or is this hacking?

When they teleport onto a node they fall from the sky it looks like. They won't respond to tells either.

This is hacking and they are using 3rd party software to do it. They will not respond to tells because most of them are probably Chinese/Japanese and do not understand English, OR, they know what they are doing is wrong so they avoid talking to anyone to avoid being questioned.

Since I have played other games where gold farmers/hackers persisted, I suspect if you say "Ni Hao" to them, they MIGHT reply

SE can use their logs to map the flow of goods and gil from player to player.

When they find out who they all are, they can come down in one fell swoop and take out a few thousand with perma bans. As they go through it all, they need to ID the payment accounts as well to insure they ban the source of payment.

All in all, it cant stop all of it forever, but they can make it much much more costly for anyone running a business selling gold to NEWB's.

This bugs me so much. Sure a lot of the RMT are Chinese but most of us (Japanese) don't like any 3rd party. From playing 11 for 8 years and playing with Japanese and English speakers alike. More English speakers use hacks then Japanese.

A lot of folks in NA lump Asian cultures together. I've personally never heard of JP RMT (other than maybe translators). Such is life. I will say, though, on my FFXI server (carbuncle) there was a JP programmer that would make his own hacks to get claim on HNMs. That's a different class of hacking from botting/RMT though.
