Please allow SMN/SCH separate stat allocations!

I leveled ACN first to be most flexible for my linkshell. I have a lot of experience playing these games and I'm comfortable in either role.

Unfortunately since the stat distributions are shared, I cannot min/max one job without hurting the other when we need me to swap roles. I have already spent 40,000 GC Seals respecing as needed, but it's a terribly inefficient challenge that needs a solution on any class with multiple jobs (I assume everyone will get multiple jobs).

Please allow us to separately allocate our attribute points / stats per job instead of per class.

I thought this was nulled due to the fact that SCH can steal skill Cleric Stance. But what do I know. Im a WHM lol

yes omg i have been wanting to make a thread about this. its really annoying to have their stats shared. sometimes i really dont understand the decisions they make.
one of the main selling points of this game and for me is that your able to do everything and be everything on one character, this is the only system in the game that locks you out of something. and since scholar and smn are 2 complete opposites, theres no way to be a good scholar without being a gimped smn. it just doesnt make sense with the design of their own game.
the only real way to be both is to make another character and thats not right, thats not what the games about or else they wouldnt have put so much effort into the armoury system.
im sure this doesnt affect everyone because not everyone wants to be both a scholar and a smn but when they start adding other jobs that are complete oppposites there will be more people seeing the problem in it. they already hinted at the possibility of dark knight branching off of gladiator.

You can use Cleric Stance on SCH but all you are doing is flipping stats and because of a relic your Int might be the same as Mnd so it would be pointless. Not to mention the -20% (percent?) Healing.

Cleric Stance is not an answer because it is only usable on SCH to allow you to slightly improve your dps. It hurts your healing. This might be more useful on SMN, but is not available.

There's an item that resetted your stats in 1.0... I don't remember the name of it right now because I'm at work and most games sites are blocked. (this one seems to have passed their firewall). I think the name was The Keeper's Hymn? But this item can reset your stats. Now, I'm not sure if it is available in ARR.

It is, but at 10k seals, its not exactly usable if you say, want to do stuff as summoner while queueing as a scholar, and swapping every hour, or even every day.

Iirc the best fates give 250 seals (I think the best leves give 200 or so), so it will take you at least 40 FATEs, which is like 2 extremely mindnumbing hours if you want to go that way.

seems going all out INT or MND isnt really ideal for sch/smn

seems like a balance between INT MND and PIE would be best.

i will be playing more summoner heavy so i would go 15 INT 10 mnd, 5 PIE.

If i were going more scholar heavy i would go 10 INT, 15 MND, 5 PIE

if you NEVER plan on healing as a sch or NEVER DPS'ing as summoner. then obviously you would forget the INT or MND. This class isnt a BLM, nor a WHM. So why would you build like them? This is just my opinion, hope i don't come across as an arrogant dickhead
