30 stat points are not game breaking. You can do either job fine without them on 99% on content. If its that big of a deal just go 15/15, you would barely notice a difference.

wait.. why can't you just dump everything into MND and use cleric stance for SMN? Can you not equip it as SMN?
edit: nvm. I missed the post on the first page saying that CS was not available for SMN.

I dumped all 30 points into INT for SMN, but I haven't ever had issues healing as SCH. As stated before, 30 points isn't gamebreaking.
Statwise, if you use both jobs, I would suggest INT. Investing in INT only helps burn enemies faster, however you may be wasting MND completely if you over-heal to begin with. You can't really over-DPS.

Persononally I will try go 15 mind and 15 int
Personally I think that some of these classes need a stat allocation revamp tbh. Monk should be DEX based (why there is only one Job that uses DEX as a main stat is beyond me) and either Scholar should be INT based or Summoner should be MND based. From the perspective of Arcanist, seeing as the class is based on thinking, INT makes more sense for both Scholar and Summoner.
I think if Scholar got an ability that caused heals to be based off INT it would fix the entire job (not that it's broken, but when the main class has INT stat boosts for its traits, it kinda sucks). The good part is, that Scholars could just use BLM gear (especially since it has a lot of crit on it).

No thanks, I like that you have to choose.
Just reduce the seal cost. It's too prohibitive. 3k should be closer.
Since you can only carry one of the item you'd have to go to your home company every time you want to switch.

They need to put in a mechanism to handle this. It makes no sense to have a system which allows switching classes, only to embed another system which makes switching sub-optimal.
Any user based program designer will tell you this system is non-user friendly.
The only purpose it serves is to hedge players into one of two jobs. And as World of Warcraft found hedging players just causes frustration and shortens subscriptions. Giving players the power to effectively play more rolls and classes to their fullest, allows a higher level of customer satisfaction.
It would be in Square's best interest to fix problems like this promptly for a more seamless design which frustrates players less.

i'd just like to see the seal cost for the keeper's hymn reduced at some point... it probably will when other classes get a 2nd job anyway

Alternatively, make the Keeper's Hymn a Key Item, rather than a consumable, that allows 1 stat chance every day (or 2 days, or 3, or whatever).
