    How 401 and 601 Errors helped me

    I am a 1.0 player with a collector edition.
    I am now a 2.0 player who bought a collectors edition.

    I just got the 401 and 601 errors

    I got online help from their online support. While I was talking to him I wanted to add my new collector edition account key he told me that I already had one and I told him he was wrong because I had not used my account key yet. He told me that Square upgraded my 1.0 collectors to a 2.0 collectors edition. Which is cool and I thank Square for that. When I asked the guy to refund me my 2.0 collectors that I bought but never used he said that he could not. He said "You would need to seek the retailer in this case. We use Digital River for our web store purchases. They can be reached at 866-585-3251. They would be the one to provide any support for the purchase." I called in just a few min I got through to some one and a few min later I was off the phone and getting a refund.

    If I never got the 401 or the 601 error and got on squares online help desk. I would have never known about my double buy. Square would still have my $49.00.

    Lucky you got through.. most of us waited over 2 hours to be told there are no agents available....
