There's more to it than just numbers though, theirs the time spent and how long I'll keep the DL set for.
As I already have the cowl as I got stuck on Titan so I spent them.

But I still need:
Gloves - 495
Belt - 375
Breeches - 825
Boots - 495
That's 2190 Tombs just there and 22 runs of Castrum.

Then we got the accessories.
Earrings - 375
Choker - 375
bracelet - 375
Ring - 375
That's 1500 and another 15 runs making the total amount 37 runs just for the set.
Then I need another 900 for my Relic, add that and it's 46 runs. Assuming each CM is 30 minutes long it'll take 1 day of constant playing just to get that.

Hence why I asked if it worth to spend that amount of time for something I'll lend up getting rid off soon.

One of the advantages to the crafted accessories is that you can meld VIT in a slot which traditionally does not have any (on mage-focused accessories). VIT seems to be heavily underrated here; MND is obviously potent, but VIT is critical. One of our best Turn 5 WHMs runs with nearly 3,800 HP base.

That said, the crafted pieces and materia are a pain to get together. Allagan / AF2 takes a long time to piece together a set; there are alternatives to Darklight from crafting, and some of the stats are not optimal, but it gives you a pretty well-rounded WHM generally speaking. If you have AF2 on the immediate horizon for a slot, I'd skip that DL piece, but I wouldn't just sit on the 60 AK set until AF2 / Allagan.

Would you be kind enough to show me his set up? I know to do TBCoB you need Darklight minimum. :/
