I mainly use mouseover macros for healing. With those I can just hover my mouse over the person's name who I want to heal on the party list (or the actual player character, but I don't find that very practical) or if I have a monster targeted I can use it to heal the person the monster is attacking. The macro structure is:
/ac "Cure" <mo>
I use that with all my healing spells, have the main boss as a focus target (shift+F) to see what moves it's using and target the monster the group is currently attacking.
Hope this helps!
Until proper addon support happens, i am having to deal with manually targeting a player and using a hotkey. It is very slow and cumbersome, but for the time being it is all i can do.I mainly use mouseover macros for healing. Ive setup my ui wit grp window bottom center of screen wit my hotbars either side, works a treat
I typically keep the tank as my focus target and use the following for Cure (and Esuna):
/macroicon "Cure"
/ac "Cure" <mo>
/ac "Cure" <t>
/ac "Cure" <focus>
Be aware that area transitions (such as in Halatali) and some cutscenes will clear your focus target.
