any word on transfers?

wife just bought the game now that sales are open again, and she cant make a character on the server im on... any word on transfers so i can transfer to her, or she can transfer to me? would like to play together.....

I noticed in the Japanese-to-English thread that they are still working on it.

My husband at first couldn't create on my server but he gave it a few days and eventually was able to do so. They are always opening up and easing restrictions as necessary, so just have her keep trying for now until the service begins for world transfers.

Although the Mogstation still has a sentence about them starting mid-Sept. (and that still could happen). Yoshi posted on the 12th: http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...54#post1247254

Though there is still some work to be done, we hope to bring you an announcement regarding the availability of World transfers in the very near future.

So no firm date, but hopefully soon.
