The problem isn't with the name however, but with the fact that whichever class i play, I use basically the same skill set, the only different when i play various class is that some skill have longer recast time.

They sound like pirates, which is what they look like and are based on in-game...

Thaumaturge
1. a worker of wonders or miracles; magician.

SE can't really be faulted for the ignorance of its fanbase.
