Changing my password

So I have now tried twice to change my password for logging in to the game to no avail.

What I mean by this is that I use the launcher's password recovery system to force a change on my password, and once I change it and try to log in with the new password, the launcher will not accept it. When I use my old password, it accepts that one.

So if the launcher is having me change my password, why is the launcher then not accepting the new password? Anyone else have this issue?

Are you changing your password via Mog Station?

No I am not, as I said I am changing it using the launcher, which is why I am confused. The password reset is happening within the launcher itself, so why is it not taking?

Ignore the launcher and use the account management in Mog Station.

Launcher? Why on earth would the launcher ask/tell you to reset your pword. How odd. Anyways, i'd always do it through the legit web site if the launcher was being shady i would be somewhat paranoid myself.

Odd? Not at all. At least, not in any other MMO that I've ever played.
Directly below your login fields is a link for forgotten passwords. This is incredibly standard.

True, i'm just being paranoid. Just worried some people may have somehow, when they got the game, got a bogus patcher. Too much hacking going on, not enough real answers.
