LOL?
for people on PS3, maybe but for PC users? Just copy the game folder in My documents > My Games, copy it all and bang, all HUD, Hotbars, Keybinds, Macros, graphical settings.
Simple >< the folder isn't even hidden ><
He'd explicitly mentioned "for ppl who play on pc and ps3". (The same would hold true if it were a PC and PS4 combination now that the game's available for that as well.) That backup does nothing for anyone with multiple platforms. You still have to re-create everything separately on every platform, both initially and also every time you make a change to one of them. (Well, the backup does help protect the PC-exclusive portion from a hard drive crash, but that's it.)
The long necro of this thread also brings up the fact that it had been a long time ago that SE had said they were looking into fixing this issue. So why has it still not been fixed yet, not even after all this time? (It's the main thing that's preventing me from buying the PC version. I'd like to have multiple versions available, but not if they can't be coordinated with each other.)

Would be nice if at least the save folder helped us tell which belongs to what character.
You can probably add a text file with the character name inside the folder to keep tabs on it, though.
