Ramuh, Leviathan, bahamut ..... can you even fight them?

are they even available to fight in the game? i just done Thousand Maws of Toto-Rak and saved that elder slyph, thinking she was gonna send me into fight Ramuh, but nooooooooooooooooooooo. Said Ramuh is good and just handed me his crystal over. Such a downer that turned out to be.

Leviathan is mentioned but it doesnt feel like the story is going back to focus on the Sahagin, and then there is bahamut, i know of the place called spiral of bahamut but i think you don't fight him....

Can anyone confirm that you can fight these 3? It was a real disappointment that the primal roster was so little to begin with but now it feels very rushed that 3 of those listed, i think you cant even fight in trials or boss fights.

You can't.
But they will become avaiable in later expansions, though.

Don't expect Bahamut to be avaiable for a good six or seven expansions though, at least in my opinion.

i thought all that are listed would be available in vanilla and in expansions they would add other ones that arnt listed (e.g. Shiva, Phoenix, Ragnarok, Kirin, Diabolos and so on and so on, too many lol)

Bahamut (and then end of the Binding Coil) is supposed to be in Patch 2.1.

As for Leviathan and Ramuh, I think they are planned for 2.1 as well.

2.1 is planned for November release.

Leviathan was originally planned to be a Primal battle in version 1.0, but was dummied out along with Titan, because of the tragic Japanese earthquake and tsunami in 2011. Square Enix considered it to be in very poor taste to feature summons in the game which cause earthquakes and tsunamis so soon after the disaster, and hence their battles were never available in the game, although their models were in the client's code.

That's no longer considered an issue though, so expect Leviathan in ARR eventually along with Ramuh (a teaser of Ramuh's battle music was released a while ago by SE as a sneak peak about what to expect).

i remember seeing a post somewhere of a screenshot of what looked like a big crystal in the water off a pier, one of the players postsed saying it might be for a unreleased primal battle against leviathan

I think Leviathan would be next since there's already a level 49 areas with Sahagin mobs in Eastern La Noscea and we all know Leviathan is one of the threats for Limsa Lominsa alongside Titan.
