This really needs to happen soon.

Its pretty sad that we have to "game the system" to get people on the same server. At this point rerolling would just be an annoyance that I am not sure too many people would care to do.

Its a shame that game is good but what's the point if you cant reliably coordinate with friends to get on the same server.

They will end up losing people due to this in the long run.

Its a shame because losing people to not being able to play together is silly.

Looking forward for the world transfer as well.
I really hope this 2-3 months is wrong, it was said in his last news that it would be very soon, and very soon is not 2-3 months.

There is no firm date. The article above was from over 2 weeks ago, Yoshi made a post last week saying:

Though there is still some work to be done, we hope to bring you an announcement regarding the availability of World transfers in the very near future.

Very near future is not specific. He also said announcement, not necessarily the commencing of, so all this means that yes, transfers could happen this month- or as the article said, possibly in Nov/Dec. The longer they wait, the more some people will give up and move on. It is on their radar, they are working on as Yoshi said in his post, but when it will happen has yet to be set.

What's sad is that they already have a free transfer system in place that they have used twice before, most recently just before release to allow legacy players to move servers.

Why not give us free transfers using the system they already have?

That system did not allow you to move to full servers, but people could move off full servers making space for others.
