reached brayflox longstop

then joined a party in middle of it just before the fire lizard boss

and damn we died 4 times just becuase of tank not tanking properly

when losing aggro spam flash to reclaim it

after every death for us he said im bad dps and whatever til i left the dungeon

not tanking properly and insulting ?

i played brayflox many many times in phase 3 it was pretty easy except 1st boss not fire lizard

i would do it if i had my WAR lv32 or PLD LV32

plus i played brayflox as tank and it was a joke in phase 3

having trouble maintaining aggro either spam flash or overpower for to reclaim it

also there is aggro bar near party members HP check it to see if you see anyone other than you near full that guage

if no one continue attacking

if there is ( most likely healer ) spam flash or overpower for sometime

GLD = out of MP? use riot blade combo to replenish

MRD = out of TP? wait til it fill and spam overpower

i had no trouble using all classes to lv35 back in phase 3

except healer since timing heal is a main factor to not taking tank aggro

btw i didnt use Duty Finder in any Dungeon except Brayflox

That damn dungeon is the first dungeon where you learn the crap tanks from the good ones. The tank I had on the first RUN??? We spent a full hour dying to the final boss. The second time I attempted it? Received a MUCH better tank and cleared it the first time. A good tank is paramount to clearing this dungeon.

Makes me feel good. I cleared it as a Summoner Tank first try, but it was challenging and fun since I had to keep moving the pet away from the green ooze to keep the boss off of it. We had a Conjurer, Archer, and Black Mage.

I've noticed this. People seem to think that being a Tank for the quick-queue is the easy way to get through things, not realizing you have to actually be decent at the job to succeed. I'm seeing it with healers as well.

Yea I've seen many tanks today playing very bad and not keeping hate even when the mobs are marked.

P.s Has anyone ever managed to complete that Temple dungeon? Tanks seem to always ragequit lol..

I'm having too much problems with some tanks who don't know what the hell are they suppose to do. And yes, there're few tankers and too much healers "quite the opposite from beta P2 & 3".

How did you play it? I've been trying to do that along with "More Than a Feeler" for days and it didn't go well, no one is playing them. Any tips?

Well count 1 less potential tank to no longer even try a dungeon unless my ls wants to go in with me.

I tried a few times and asked for advice if I am missing something as I never played pld much in 1.0 or 2.0.
In the end noone does anything but complain and rolls eyes, there is no point in trying as i can't learn the dungeon runs if noone works with me, so how am I supposed to be a better tank. I do learn fast but without tips of how to do it right I can't read minds. The guides are nice for understanding some abilities but it does nothing for someone who needs the mistakes pointed out so they can not repeat them by the time they get to the boss.

So if you want to not support the tank then don't gripe there are no tanks, I was willing to give it a go, and as people will tell you given the right advice i become very good at the jobs I take on. Needless to say I will stick with whm which I am good at and DD.

First and easiest tip... keep the hate away from the others, especially the healer. I can't remember how many times i got screwed over because of that and trying to survive the hits and having a hard time with healing my group.
