Yoroshiku is actually more like "Nice to meet you". Usually when you meet someone for the first time you'll say "Hajimemashite Yoshroshiku-onegaishimasu". Literalliy is something like "Meeting your for the first time please look favorable upon me, I'm begging you"

I would imagine you would end the run with something like "otsukare-sama deshita" or maybe just "otsukare" its like "thanks for the effort". You'll say it to your co-workers at the end of the day, or my mother in law says it to me after I've driven her all over town to buy things.. seems appropriate for the end of a run.
