Had an asshole tank on my first CM run. Just ignored him. Was pissed cause i was in cut scenes while they where flying through. My whole time there was running alone catching up to the group. I didnt do anything in the fight till the last boss.

Yes because theirs many games with that perfect community, deal with the bad apples. So I'm farming CM with a friend to help him finish getting his Darklight. I get into a group with a pull-happy tank that pulls the second boss and locks a couple people out. We wiped, then he starts trying to trash talk me (the other tank). Then AFKs when I talk back to him.
This is just one minor example of what running with random players has been like in this game. The online community has become nothing more than a cesspool of trash floating downhill to a sewage plant.
If this is the community I can expect to have to deal with, I'm not sure I'll stay. I just can't take being verbally assaulted in every other run for absolutely nothing.
yes your right , i dont realy love this Community also , just too show your 100 % right
here before the fight i'm just asking too the paladin to stun, because war stun every 30 sec vs 2.5 sec for pld
but the pld just jump on ifrit and try too be the main tank ,i got np too take control of the hate but after the pld ask too is friend healer to let me die ,
Not to defend the DF system or anything, but if you can't handle the chance that you're going to be paired up with a jackass the best bet is to try to find a FC or LS(s) on your own server that you can run content with. At least that way you know who you're playing with. I primarily stick to FC groups but I'll do some Ifrit PUGs every once in a while. Most of them go pretty well while other times you get some smack talking.
Have to take the good with the bad unfortunately. That's what internet anonymity breeds.
Hopefully the WoW kids and F2P wannabe's will filter themselves out eventually.
The vast majority of my DF experiences has been very positive. I've met generally nice people, sure, I've had people drop because the dungeon has gone a bit pear shaped, but I don't blame them if there is a low or zero chance of winning then them bailing is the correct choice. I did however on my first AK run, run into a know it all healer who annoyed me so much after only 5 minutes that I apologised to the other two people and left, unfortunately I'm a tank so if they didn't get a replacement I'm still apologising, if they did, then I'm apologising to the tank for having to put up with that healer.
But yeah, community is what you make of it, go in to a dungeon, say "hello!" to everyone (in auto-trans) and be happy, get a bit of an idiot, take the 15 mins hit and bail, once the people who are a bit idiot realise they can't complete anything because people keep bailing on them, they may get a clue.
Oh, my first HM Ifrit was nice too, didn't win but the other PLD (Heal Me) was really nice after the fight, so yeah, Durandal FTW.
I blame league of legends entirely.
