Honestly? Get over it.So I'm farming CM with a friend to help him finish getting his Darklight. I get into a group with a pull-happy tank that pulls the second boss and locks a couple people out. We wiped, then he starts trying to trash talk me (the other tank). Then AFKs when I talk back to him.
+ rest of QQ
If you don't like how the random people in your party are communicating with you, join an FC where the people will speak to you with respect and run it with no rude people?
Blaming anyone but yourself for the party you've ended up in is wrong.
I don't see how it's our fault that people can't act decent during a dungeon. Not everyone here has time for all the social BS that comes with a FC and just wants to play the game.
Most people have the attention span of a 12 year old. They can't wait five seconds for buffs or for someone to finish a cuscene.
It's this "speedrun" mentality that really puts me off dungeons in this game.
It's no secret that we've got a lot of baggage over from WoW and other "shiny pixels are everything" mmos.
You have people complaining about nothing to do after two weeks because they can't be bothered to do anything else than FATE's and dungeons.

The real problem isn't in FC's but in choosing a good one and how you interact with the people within. This is an MMO, if you don't want to deal with the "social bs" in a game that's based around working with other people to do things... are you sure this is the type of game for you?

Your outlook is so disgusting. People with your mindset are the reason the community is a sociopathic trash-pile.
If you think it's fine to treat someone like trash, just because you got grouped with them randomly, you've got mental problems.

Honestly, this seems more toxic than what Umbrah said. Personally, while I wouldn't pin the blame on any one individual person, i believe Umbrah has the right idea. If you don't like running dungeons in the Duty Finder because the people you wind up with are rude and disrespectful, don't use Duty Finder.
It is still possible to form groups on your own server. More so, doing dungeons this way may be slower, but this is a way that you can meet people that you can actually keep as friends (if you like them) and continue to progress with. Before duty finder, this is how dedicated linkshells of close friends were formed.
The great thing about FFXIV is that it doesn't force you into a corner. You're not forced to party with random people. Make some friends (help gear them up), gather a group of well geared responsible gamers, and you'll never have to deal with Duty Finder again.
TL;DR: If you don't like it and/or find yourself offended by it/them, don't put yourself through it. Where there's a will, there is a way.
