It is hard to have a good community when everyone is out for themselves. It is questing solo (or do major lag fest FATES) and you really don't have to communicate with anyone if you didn't want to. It is all about grind grind grind to get to end game, once end game is around it is grind some more for your Elite gear.
What I miss the most is SWG where the community relied on each other. You depended on the smuggler to slice your weapons, the doctor and dancers for their buffs etc. And people used to gripe about waiting 10 minutes for the shuttle, but that is where I met so many great people. In this game, it is standing around the town until a FATE pops and zerging to it, or waiting for the duty finder to pop. I am feeling a little put off right now by some of the community's attitudes lately. It is a game, to be enjoyed, not something to make you have a heart attack over just because one person in the party never did the run before, or has sub par gear.
This is what I'm talking about. Smack-talking and arguing at every turn. It's even in a thread about how terrible the community is.You should probably go back to whatever stone you crawled out from. A year from now, none of those will be considered hard. Just like in every MMORPG, inexperience yields to experience and fights will go much easier and quicker. Once upon a time Kirin was thought to be unbeatable.
Call someone a "moron" now, tell them they're trash, then go AFK.
No, no she's correct - you tried to make the claim that hard = grind (usually people who try to discredit any difficulty in a FF game or FF MMO says this) then you basically tell her to go away for proving you wrong.
Picture is related. You can't call Garuda or Titan HM a "grind", since those actually have difficulty to it - Coil turn 2-5 (especially 5) have difficulty to it - You clearly never done either to make the blanket statement nothing in this game is challenging. Yes, 99% of the game is easy mode but that 1% sure does offer a challenge if you go in thinking you'll faceroll it.
That's cute. How does that change the fact they're difficult? You do realize that the way you overcome difficulty is by learning...? i.e. EXPERIENCE That, and of course they'll become easier as people get OVERGEARED for them over a year. This comment was so ridiculous, I was flabbergasted at how oblivious someone would have to be to make it.
Do The Navel (Hard) and ask four of the schmucks you brought in with you to do nothing. That's just a HEALER, a TANK, and TWO dps, just like "easy mode." Don't tell me it's "impossible," or "you won't have the dps," or other such crap. You'll sit there thinking because you accomplished this feat (with seven other people, some who may have had to pull extra weight 'cause someone else is slacking a bit, maybe even you're the slacker in the group) that you've got it made. YOU accomplished a thing, therefore it's "easy." Nothing is "hard." Not even the Binding Coil. Note that unless you had a group to effectively power level up to 50 and through the content, this crap can be hard to do by yourself. Especially if you have to deal with between 3-7 other schmucks who've decided that your enjoyment is not worth their loss of it.
