Do The Navel (Hard) and ask four of the schmucks you brought in with you to do nothing. That's just a HEALER, a TANK, and TWO dps, just like "easy mode." Don't tell me it's "impossible," or "you won't have the dps," or other such crap. You'll sit there thinking because you accomplished this feat (with seven other people, some who may have had to pull extra weight 'cause someone else is slacking a bit, maybe even you're the slacker in the group) that you've got it made. YOU accomplished a thing, therefore it's "easy." Nothing is "hard." Not even the Binding Coil. Note that unless you had a group to effectively power level up to 50 and through the content, this crap can be hard to do by yourself. Especially if you have to deal with between 3-7 other schmucks who've decided that your enjoyment is not worth their loss of it.
honestly I often join server made groups now due to the Rushers in this game constantly screaming at everyone because they're not getting what they want.
Note: Rushers are what I call these people because they're obsessed with getting all the best things first in the game rather than being the best in the game. Their short temper to any hamper towards their own goal to get everything first before anyone else also leads to them having a serious ego problem, demanding people to have better gear than them so they can be carried all the way to endgame, and bragging about having all these "shiny" gears when they lack the skills required to play high level contents.

They're worse than WoW, way worse than WoW. I played WoW for 6+ years up until about a month ago. I never had to sift through the garbage like I have to in this game. They're just terrible, terrible people. People that shouldn't even be allowed to communicate with other human beings.I think majority of the rude players are directly from WoW, and are from the group of gamers that expect instant gratification with no effort. These players are irritating for me also, I usually leave group if they bother me too much (trash talking is unacceptable for me imo).
I think WoW has ruined a lot of the MMO community by being so casual friendly and by making gear so easy to get. Players don't realise that games are suppose to be hard and they don't realise that everyone in the party is important to the group.

And when their free trial ends, they will go back to playing Evony. Don't worry. They're worse than WoW, way worse than WoW. I played WoW for 6+ years up until about a month ago. Lucky! I played MoP and raiding was godawful. They're worse than WoW, way worse than WoW. I played WoW for 6+ years up until about a month ago. Sadly, I am on a JP server, I am still deciding whether I have to deal with a bad latency or a bad community. I really hope it gets better before the world transfer comes out. Japanese are noobs as well and have never treated anyone like that and I like them. This is why I stick to Japanese servers. At least the players are polite and if they don't have anything good to say, they just don't say anything at all. If you want, Masamune is the unofficial Oceanic server for legacy (Tonberry for new) and has plenty of English speakers. And you can get by pretty well with auto-translate with the Japanese players.

I think people blaming their problems on WoW are one of the problems themselves. WoW can be bad, but even their official forums aren't this bad. I would say its the fact thatI think majority of the rude players are directly from WoW, and are from the group of gamers that expect instant gratification with no effort. These players are irritating for me also, I usually leave group if they bother me too much (trash talking is unacceptable for me imo).

1. Its a 'new' game, but there are already 'experienced' people from 1.0. They want to stay on top and have dived straight into endgame and haven't had to go through being new in a long time. Couple this with
2. New players, not just to ffxiv, but mmo's in general. There are a lot of FF fans trying their first mmo with this, a lot of console games trying their first mmo. There's a big divide here where its mostly either 'vets' or 'newbies', and that's what's causing the main issue.
