Actually, speaking of this, what was the last SE game that had active jumping as a useful feature?
I can't actually think of any at the moment. Closest I can think of is that Slime battle quest game for the DS.

Anyone who's actually played Dissidia knows it's considered an aerial combat type of fighter as you stay in the air far too long and have the abilities to do combos while in air for it to be just plain "jumping" when used as a example.

You're right, this is in no way, shape or form ground and aerial combat.
I wasn't disputing this "Dissidia" and whether or not it has aerial combat or some other abberation thereof. I was merely disputing its relevance.Anyone who's actually played Dissidia knows it's considered an aerial combat type of fighter as you stay in the air far too long and have the abilities to do combos while in air for it to be just plain "jumping" when used as a example.

If FFXIV is only permitted to introduce concepts and features that have been used previously in other SE titles, then god help us. LOL.
Seriously, sometimes I wonder who is really the troll around here. At least Im conscious of it.

Dissidia but that might not count.
Final Fantasy VII: Dirge of Cerberus?
I have to thank Square-Enix for the amazing job they have done recreating Final Fantasy XIV from Scratch. Especially the inclusion of Missing Genders which we petitioned for in good faith. This was proof to us players that the Developers are truly Sympathetic to our requests and that being honest and vocal can pay off with the amazing characters we have who are Female Roegadyn, Male Miqote, and Female Highlanders. Thank You SE, Thank You Community Team, Thank You Yoshi-P.
