    Payment Issues

    I went to update my wife\\'s credit card on her mog station I was able to Reactivate her accounts today.
    But when I do the same thing with my account with my Credit card or with My wife\\'s credit card from the same bank and account I get a error and if I do it a few times it tells me To contact SE I did try but it says my SE e mail is wrong it was so long ago I can\\'t Remember what it was how can I Contact SE if I don\\'t have all my info why not let me use my card again or even my wife card am not sure what I can do here is there any phone number I can call ?
    Any help Will be appreciated

    Having similar problem. They cancelled my account on me and didn't let me add the new card and I should still have 17 days left on the account, but they want to charge me.

    Copying this from the other related thread for those out there looking to find a solution to this:

    Things that did NOT work for me:

    1) Paying by credit card directly - declined
    2) Paying by adding crysta through a credit card - declined
    3) Buying an UltimateGameCard code online and using it to add Crysta through UltimatePay - declined ($20 wasted, I suppose)

    several posts so far on this issue and nobody from SE has popped in to reply...not a good sign

    Similar issue with me too...

    My old credit card was cancelled by the bank for a security issue... So as I waited for my new card I guess my free time expired. Now I have my new card and I cannot add it to the account.. Keeps giving me an error and says to contact SE or my account will be locked out etc. etc. I cannot get a hold of anyone from SE, waited in the online chat for 2.5 hours only to be told there are no agents left. Just wanted to play and give SE some $$$... Someone please bump this, this needs to get fixed, ASAP.

    Updated I talk to my back they seen a lot of pre Authorized payment for a Dollar but they are Pending only one Payment went Through for $9.99
    That was for my wife but when it comes to my account my bank is telling me that they been Doing a lot of preauthorization's but not charging I don't know why they take my Money for my wife's account but not my account.
    I was able to send a customer requests on SE they Gave me a ticket number but they have not replied back to me yet I just trying to get them to take my money so I can play lol
    Has any one been able to get past these error 401 and 601 by chance?
    If so what did you do to fix it Because I'm trying 14 hours passed last time i Try last night night and I still can't get them to take my money just keep getting these errors

    Still cant add my credit card, keep getting an error... I do have a 1$ charge on my visa that is pending, so maybe when that clears I will be able to add my card, but as of now its been about 12 hours for me with no luck still. after reading through many forums, apprently this is a huge issue and wide spread, should be getting some attention.

    i have had it take up to 3-4 days before my CC company has cleared a $1 check payment like that before. It all depends on how your CC company deals with what could be flagged as a suspicious transaction..remember this is all automated and if the transaction is flagged someone has to get a look at it to verify the transaction is ok and that can take a few days.

    Here's the method provided by Timberwolf and only thing that ended up working for me:

    5) Confirm that you want your game card placed onto your FFXIV account.
    *(Within 10 minutes, you'll have an email letting you know you've had Crysta added.)*

    6) Log into your Square Enix Account Management page, click on "Crysta Passbook", and you'll see the 2,000 crysta added.

    7) Continue to Mog Station, and go through the payment process again, this time using the Crysta that is now on your account.

    As I said, this is a pain in the butt and roundabout way of doing it (Hopefully you're lucky and can get a digital card from Walmart.com or Gamestop.com), but it will (and has in my case) gotten me back online and playing. In the mean time... SE, get off yer @$$es and fix your payment system!

    I spent just under 11 minutes on the phone and their customer support was very nice and 1000000000x more helpful than SEs has been to everyone.
