yes, the mobs are bugged, imo
if you can run through them from behind without them noticing, what other words can describe it?
the field of view of the mobs are broken, only about 90° in front of them
it's silly that they can't detect us running & jumping behind them

Except the fact that....I dont know......every single mob in the game being designed like that. You call bugged, I call poor design. There are no rules being broken if mobs are poorly designed this way, as there is no bug in the game code that you are taking advantage of. Do you report everyone who runs behind mobs out in the world as they're questiong? Did you report every ninja in FFXI for tanking? Want to bitch about something? Bitch about SE fixing the way all mobs in the game behave.

There's that word again. I don't think it means what you think it means.

Aside from the guide being great in general, I'd like it a thousand more times if I could just for this. People throw around the word elitist so much, and they really have absolutely no idea what it means.

I know it may come as a surprise to some of you, but when someone turns you down for something like H Titan because you're still in lvl 20 rings, AF, and a pink AV weapon on account of your "i pley 2 haev fuun" attitude, that's not being elitist. That's called being realistic, and nobody wants to bring somebody along that will make the fight impossible for them and everyone else.

Yeah I get it, it's a game and we should play to have fun. But you know what's more fun than wiping a dozen times because half of your group can't meet the minimal gear requirements? Not wiping a dozen times because half of your group can't meet the minimal gear requirements. I know, amazing.

This is a masochists guide to gear progression. Primal weapon is not required for anything. Ppl will kill themselves trying to get a lottery drop. Second, Garuda is easy in ilvl55+. Full AF is the bare minimum but not preferable.

Finally, wp gear is a waste of time. The weps are the only good part if you dont want gc/primal/hq crafted.

Just out of curiosity. Where is this "math"? Who has subjectively proven that it is impossible to defeat X content with Y gear? I dont think that "OMG that Bard keeps getting 1 shotted!" is viable. Hell, ill take a devs word for it too ... theyd probably know. Obviously there is a problem since they plan to gear gate the DF but it seems to me these so called "elitist" are pulling their minimum gear requirments out of their smug lil'ass.
