Where is the loot in this game?

Well ive just been playing this for a few days, but on my way to level 15.. No loot has DROPPED at all. Everything has come from quests witht he exceptions of a few potions / other things..

No armor/weapon drops?
Enchants?

Loving the game but I must be missing something

Loot such as weapons and armor drops from dungeon instances which you gain access to around lvl 15 (story questwise) Edit: The loot is in chests at certain spots in the dungeon or after the mini/ final bosses.

Monsters don't drop loot. Quests and Leves could also give gear.

Well you have been getting loot. every time you kill a monster, you have a chance of receiving an item, things like hide, fangs, etc. That is technically loot. but if you're wanting like armor and weapon drops, it comes from doing dungeons, and every so often you might get them from leves.

As far as I know only crafting materials and Gil drop from defeated mobs. If you want gear drop you have to run dungeons (I'm only level 24 so it could be different higher up)

Your average mob in this game will drop only crafting components. More significant items like equipments are almost exclusively given by quests, leves, dungeons, and events. It virtually eliminates the need to farm and makes it more straightforward to obtain equipments. It also prevents people from flooding the market with farmed gears.

Dont forget, whilst it may appear that killing 50 rats in this game has given zero loot... its not entirely true. Your loot just automatically gets placed into your bag and a notification in your chat window will tell you what you got. There is no ''loot dead mob'' function in this game. Thank ---- for that!

Yeah, I kinda like that a random ladybug in this game isn't holding onto a pair of leather boots... and giant grabs don't carry longbows...

Dungeon chest, quests, crafting, the market, and vendors - that's where you get gear. Not from rabid squirrels.
