Can someone list gear ilvl in order and where they are gotten?

So lets say you wanted to do everything in other... what would it be and from where?

I hear abbreviations not familiar with, like CM, AK.. relic, AF.. etc.

So when I hit 50, i'll know what each means and which I should aim for, what are the requirements of certain bosses, etc.

Hi!

As you're levelling make sure to do your Gladiator quests and then continue into your Job quests (Paladin) this will get you the base level of armour (AF or Artifact Armor, a term from FFXI) for beginning level 50 content.

CM is Castrum Meridianum, it's a story quest dungeon that people farm for "Philosophy tombstones" - you trade these for iLvL 70 gear at camp revenants toll.
AK is Amdapor keep, its a level 50 dungeon you unlock after you complete another dungeon called Aurum Vale. People farm AK for "Mythology Tombstones", you can only earn 300 a week and they purchase iLvL90 gear.


Relic is a special weapon for each Job, you need to be some very tough fights to unlock it. Your progression will be something like

Reach level 50 - Complete Job quests for Artifact gear (ilvl 50)
Complete Main story quest (might happen as part of reach level 50!)
Gain entrance to a dungeon called Wanderers Palace and try to get a Darklight Weapon and iLvl 55 gear
Beat the Aurum Vale to gain access to Amdapor Keep
Farm Amdapor Keep for ilvl 60 gear whilst saving up the tombstones to buy Darklight Armour and Accessories (ilvl 70)
When most of your gear is ilvl 60-70 Get the relic quest and begin progressing through it.
When you reach and defeat ifrit hard mode, try to do multiple runs until you get an ifrit weapon (ilvl 60)
Next progress to Garuda and try to get a new weapon (ilvl70)
Next progress to Titan, upon completion of the relic question your weapon is ilvl 80
If you have saved up 3 weeks of Philosophy tombstones from Amdapor, you can upgrade this to a relic+1

Now you are really ready for the Binding Coil of Bahamut raid dungeon, but you'll need a good group who communicate well and a play well together

There might be some mistakes in here as I didn't do some steps myself as I had a relic weapon and all Garuda weapons coming from 1.x, but if anyone spots anything I got wrong please correct it!

If you have a ridiculous amount of money, you can also purchase ilvl 70 crafted gear HQ + materia which is much stronger than darklight, but you are looking at 200k + per item.
