    That's completely wrong. DF takes forever because there's no instance slots between real players and bots farming it for tin pieces.

    What else are you to do when you run out of quests on your second or third class? Combats leves give horrible xp. Run dungeons? Yes, because having to grind dungeons up to 50 and THEN grind the same one at 50 for 60 hours is so much fun.

    FATES are fine, the problem is the community mindset of wanting to be carried.

    You probably approve of FATEs because your one of those FATE stompers who just love the repetition yet complain about it being done on dungeons for what? Four levels? I'm sure the six or more levels you gain in the same area is nowhere near as repetitive especially when you do it over and over on your "second or third class".

    FATEs pretty much coerce everyone into doing it with the thousands and thousands of exp more than any other feature the game offers. After anyone realizes that they could of gotten more than ten times that amount instead of doing dungeons or leves they'll leave immediately. All my friends gave up dungeons and started spamming FATEs because of that but there's a limit to how much exp. someone will give up to have fun and I highly doubt anyone will give up over 80% of it for the sake of fun unless they don't know about it.

    For the first 50 character you have FATE's aren't really necessary. But when you make a second, or third, you are a bit screwed. Low level quests do not reset, and leves are limited. So FATE's, imo, are based more toward those leveling alternate classes. I don't mind getting some of my exp from dungeons but as a DPS you can expect to wait close to an hour for DF to pop. Heck I tried to use DF as a CNJ just yesterday and it still took ages to get in. If FATE's get nerfed, then SE has to either reset low level quests so we have a way to level or increase exp gain in dungeons.

    Do you not realize that once you have levels a few classes you are gonna be out of quest except for leves fates etc? There are people who want a lot of different classes and this game is made for that. Nerfing fates are gonna kill it for those of us who want to level many different classes on one character...

    FATEs do NOT need a nerf.

    Rather they should buff all the other methods of gaining experience.


    Lets be honest, if you want an optimal class you're going to have to level a few classes to at least 40+ it shouldn't feel like a massive grind.

    I don't like how FATEs are the only viable way to level quickly atm, but I don't want to see leveling as a whole slowed down, just make other forms better.

    Well there's a way to over come that problem make a party go to a high level area and exp grind. Its not that hard to do

    If it wasn't for fate grinding I wouldn't last past level 35ish. Quest based leveling is horribly boring, I prefer to grind. Luckily fates give me that option.

    I see everyone screaming nerfs. i really dont mind people getting to 50s fast and doing what they like. every point that has ever been made, for or against nerfing, is moot. Myself, if im feeling like i really want to level up i will run fates, if i wanna enjoy the game and all its glory, i quest. its all a matter of choice.
    Its not killing crafting by people leveling up. I craft stuff and have 0 problem selling most of it. maybe try selling stuff for reasonable prices? there are still a majority of players who dont power level in this game and many other MMO's.
    And dungeons, yes if you are dps they take way longer than tanks or healers, but thats in ANY mmo. Most people prefer dps over classes that take some skill or strategy to use.

    agree with op, fates need to be toned Down in xp gain, it rules out all other Things to do pre lvl 50.
