when is the server transfer thing gonna start

Well technically it's still mid-September, but that was only the original plan. Unfortunately the server issues in the first two weeks may have pushed things things back.

It's bound to be announced on the news part of the launcher though, so just keep checking that

The beginning of transfer services will be announced on Mog Station when it happens. As for then that would be, mid-September was the planned time, but there was a lot 'planned' with this launch that didn't go smoothly. I'm as eager for it as anyone since my friends are all on a different server, but we just need to wait.

I too would really like to know this soon, I currently don't really know what to do as I have lots of friends on one of the early access servers that has only recently opened up to new character creation, but I've now got a lvl 30+ char on a different server because that was the only one available when I started playing. So I could now easily start a new char to join my friends but if character transfers are only a week away I'd probably be better off waiting.

Just some information on a timescale would be nice.
