    This is what happens :

    -The quests become repeatable;
    -Players realize that FATE grinding is still more worth it;
    -Players complain about lack of XP on Quests;
    -Square Enix buffs Quests XP;
    -FATEs become obsolete;
    -No more group leveling outside of dungeons when leveling other jobs in the same characters;
    -Sense of community dies because leveling alternative jobs becomes a quest grind instead of a FATE grind;

    Everyone loses. If you're bothered by the lack of quests when you sill have FATEs, levequests and dungeons, you should be leveling another character, and not another job in the same one.

    Why is it whenever someone mentions community dying their reasoning is usually total bullshit? FATE grinding has no community involved, its a mindless zerg that most people hate but are forced to do. Even Guild Wars 2 a game completely based on the godawful concept of dynamic events has better variety for leveling.

    What I think the problem is that FATEs are the only thing apart from killing mobs that gets the +50% bonus XP for secondary classes. Even in dungeons the +50% bonus is diminished, because the mobs give such a low base XP and you just get +100% or whatever extra and chain XP for every kill, so your lowbie class bonus ends up being around 20% overall.

    5 FATEs was almost enough to give me the same XP as a full clear Haukke, 75k from FATEs and around 80k from Haukke. If Leves and Guildhests would get the 50% bonus, and dungeon mob XP was tweaked a bit, they would be worthwhile doing more, especially Guildhests. I mean, one FATE is anywhere from 2.5 to 5 times the XP of single +4 Leve for the completion alone.

    IMHO there needs to be new side quests that unlock when starting another class. All the quests you did leveling your first class are still considered done, but each new class start on a character unlocks a different set of side quests in each area. Not only would that help players level the second (or more) class, but it also keeps interest going discovering more lore and story.

    Repeatable quests get boring after awhile, but more story and lore can make going through the same areas more interesting.
