Which HEALER do you prefer?

I like any Healer that keeps me alive. I have a friend who loves to heal and is damned good at it too, she plays WHM at 50 and SCH at 45, She loves both, and is amazing at both. And thats all that really matters, Whether or not your healer is good at what they do.

A big reason WHM's generate so much hate over SCH is increased potency, more overall healing, and most importantly, they do not split hate with a pet, whereas a scholar does. I'm pretty sure that'll get nerfed though. xD

This is not true. I ran HM Titan as a SCH the other day with two WHMs. One was spamming Med II and Cure II enough to pull aggro off tank during the heart phase. Healing meter still showed me as having overall healed more than him and that doesn't factor in shield, group shield, pet heals, and all the 10% mitigation from bubble. He couldn't believe it.

I think there is a preconceived notion that WHMs throughput is higher because they have Cure II and regen, but that is not the case. I think there is also a incorrect thought that WHMs burst heals are bigger, which is, again not the case. 3 x Lustrate, Aetherflow, 3 x Lustrate is a bigger, faster burst than anything other than maybe Cure II, swiftcast, Cure II.

As a class, I like WHM as a healer more as I feel they have the potential to be better healers.
However, as a tank I prefer to have a SCH as my healer just for the fact that the people playing them seem to be better at actually playing the role and not being an idiot.
I swear, half the WHM healers I've had in a group have no clue how to be a healer. They either never heal and just sit back or spam heals and constantly draw agro. Then of course there are the ones that run ahead and pull things.
As I've said in other threads, I'm thoroughly convinced that a lot of people play as WHM because they think it will be easy-mode and they will be able to get into groups quickly and then be able to sit back and half-ass their way through the dungeon or boss fight.
