Direction of FFXIV?

A lot of moaning about SE fail "direction" for listening to it's players. I must be going blind but where is this direction again? SMMFH I'm still confused on it as nothing has been stated to point to WoW(Yoshi said the opposite). I also haven't seen anything added that just yells WoWCLONE! Dungeons and Quest hubs =/= WoWCLONE.

You were given instanced dungeons because you asked for it so why are you surprised they added it? You thought they were going to continue doing bad with the public by continuing to ignore us?
What else makes anyone think this is pointing at a WoWCLONE? If that's the case you guys chose to ask for everything WoW has. Remember most players on those polls played FFXI so why wouldn't they decide to listen?

Get over yourselves after reading how many people wanted Instance dungeons and seeing the results you should have quit by then. OMGAWD questhubs how could they add something that covers up some copy/paste terrain and gives us more content along with it. The horror of SE to give moar content to it's starving, crying, and confused playerbase.

I agree I would love to know the direction so I can know if i'm going to stick with this game for years to come. It's just amazing people are pretending they know the direction based off of instanced dungeons(which they asked for) and questhubs(which every MMO have in one form or another?).

I confess, after reading the update, I'm a little concerned about the direction myself. Questhubs do sound like any other mmo. However, without any information, I'm going to refrain from speculating. Best to see what happens and give everything a good try before making any conclusions.

They actually sound kinda like they'll be just like outposts or those campaign points in XI.
