I highly doubt that they have the available staff to have one assigned GM per world, probably not even 1 for every 2 worlds, let alone enough to staff the worlds 24/7 to instantly respond to these issues. That's why they've asked us to report them.
Again, I understand this is frustrating. I was trying to get some HQ fleece to finish up my level 50 weaver quest last night. Had to deal with a bot farming the sheep in Coerthas. Thankfully, my husband loves me, he opened a trade window with the bot and stayed there until the sheep killed the bot. Overall, it took 2 hours to find a farming spot, occupy the bot and then go about getting the fleece. Makes me wonder how many of the other sheep camps were manned by bots.
But anyway, they're working on the next patch, the ones after that, the next expansion, addressing current server issues, setting up the world transfer service, etc. It's painful to hear, and even harder to practice, but patience is what is needed right now.
Take a moment to think about your job, a job you probably hate or at least dislike. How do you feel if all the feedback you see from your customers is 'work harder, work faster, I need this addressed now, this is unacceptable, etc.' How hard would you work then? Would you rant that the customer has no idea of the amount of work you do on a daily basis? Remember that though SE is a company, there are real people doing the jobs there and try to be understanding.
