It would be really nice if there was an option that we could turn off the cut scenes after viewing the first time.
Anyone else think so?

It would be a nice option to have for some players, but I imagine it'd just make the whole "skip cutscenes or get left behind" mentality even more prevalent. If they could address that, then I don't see a reason this option couldn't be added in, even if all it would do is auto-skip cutscenes for you.
You're a bit lazy, aren't you? You have to press, like, two buttons to pass them.
especially in Castrum, that dungeon shows you a cutscene every 2 minutes.
No, what i meant was to skip it once it had been viewed. You watch it one time then after that they dont pop up unless you turn the option off.It would be a nice option to have for some players, but I imagine it'd just make the whole "skip cutscenes or get left behind" mentality even more prevalent. Can't you just skip them manually with two buttons?
It's not being lazy, it's being annoyed by the same cut scenes that you been through 25 times already. As a healer, I'll be healing people then BAM cut scene pops, I quick get out so I can keep healing only to see both tanks still watching it and those who quickly got out get beat to death.
If you want to see them again just go to the Inn and watch them.
If that happened actually, then you just had a crap group. The people who blame CS for their problems are just baddies seeking an excuse. It's not being lazy, it's being annoyed by the same cut scenes that you been through 25 times already. I did castrum yesterday and didn't see one area where CS' s popped up during a fight. Only when people ran ahead and didn't wait for those in CS' s.
That said. I think watching CS' s should be mandatory and unskippable for first timers while those who have been through it should have an option to turn them off.
This solves two problems.
First timers not being able to watch them because of jerks running ahead and screaming "wach @ enn n00b" while also giving actual speed run groups the ability to do just that. Speed run.
The area in CM right before the last boss is a bad spot and there are a few more in there that have cut scenes almost back to back and while you are hitting your esc the mobs are still attacking you which they shouldnt be able to you would think.I did castrum yesterday and didn't see one area where CS' s popped up during a fight.
