Audio Options

I think it would be great if we could get the option to switch the audio output device from within the game's options.

Currently, in order to change the audio output from speakers to headset (or viceversa), individuals have to log out of the game, make the changes in windows and log back in. This can be a deal killer if you are running dungeons with people, or if you are a DPS waiting in queue.

While we are on the topic, could we also get the options to increase the audio channels?

Excellent suggestion.

I'd also like the ability to more finely tune the audio in-game. For example, I can't for the life of me figure out how to turn down the "YOU'VE ACCEPTED/COMPLETED A QUEST!" fanfare. It's glaring and annoying and interrupts the lovely background music of the game. Do not want!

Is there any text command to mute bgm music in game such as /mutebgm or /bgm on?

I would like to be able to set audio options to a macro.

Anything ever come of this, I'd really like to be able to do this. Having to relog to go from device to device is about as antiquated as having to relog to change from full screen to windowed was in 1.xx

While on the topic of audio options, can there a BGM playback frequency? Love the BGMs but they don't play often enough.
