Guys, really thanks for all the tips. Wish I could play with all of you, alas I'm stuck in Dia-dildo . I'm farming Garuda as we speak, so far no bow has dropped but I do like it that the 3 times I've gone in we've done it flawless and I've learned the rotation of how things go. Hopefully I can get the bow while I wait for my guildies to get on before we start farming AK for tomes.

Sorry. I guess I wasn't clear before. After the heart, the gaol and the tumults are the only unavoidable attacks. He does Mountain Buster, which is usually focused on the tank. I disagree with this 100%. The pre-heart phase and heart phase are the easiest parts of the fight. Post-heart you have to deal with new bomb formations, increased landslides, mountain buster (Constant threat of gibbing your tank), and increased tumult waves on top of granite gaoling.

The amount of healing necessary to both keep the tank topped off and heal through tumult is ridiculous. That's not even mentioning how much exponentially harder the fight gets if even one of your DPS dies.

Post-heart is where things get fun for the healers (and a little added excitement for the tanks as they potentially get almost insta-gibbed by Mountain Buster ), but the OP is a Bard, and unavoidable damage isn't of much concern to the damage dealers. As long as they're in range of Medica, it's business as usual for DDs during the tumults.

After the heart, it's less about racing to the finish and more about staying alive to see the finish. With solid healers, you can survive through quite a few tumults and keep that tank upright, so as long as the healers and DPS don't let themselves die to avoidable damage, things can end well.

You don't need a full group of relics weilders for titan, that is just overkill. It is in reality an Ilvl70 fight, doable with ilvl60 Armor and preferably garuda's weapon, but with enough attention and help from one of the healers during the heart phase and a lvl2 melee LB, it is doable with ifrit weapons. The fight is done FOR relics.
