Scholar as DPS

They get cleric stance plus an additional DoT. Anyone think it would be viable? :P Just theorycrafting...:P

With cleric stance, a Scholar would theoretically have more INT than a Summoner, they also have 1 more DoT than us. I would think that a Scholar would be able to deal quite abit of dps with the right setup, only drawback is they do not have the Egi's, but that is not really much of a drawback as our Egi's deal piss weak dps anyways.

No. You have around 75% the dps of a white mage.

no way. Lvl up a 50 arcanist and kill trash mobs with your scholar... you will see the real power of a scholar.
AS a scholar i can kill at the same time 4 lvl's 50 trash mob without problem, but it takes time compared to a dps class.

In certain party setups I'll DPS. Its good to use Selene during non boss fights so it increases your allies speed and over all damage while putting heals on the backburner. I always have cleric stance on outside of boss fights because healing is never that urgent with my fairy on standby.
