playing on both PS3 and PC?

So I bought the PS3 version this past weekend but now that PC digital sales are being allowed again I'd prefer to play on my PC. Does anyone know if I have to purchase the game again if I want to play on my PC? I've heard that you can link your accounts and play the same character on both formats but I'm not sure how it works as far as whether you need to buy the game for both formats to do this.

Yes, you need to buy a PC version key to play it on your PC.

You can have both PS3/PC linked to same account and then play on whatever you want.

Be aware that the free days do not count as subscribed days for rewards - they only count the extra days which you physically pay for.

Also, you cant play BOTH PS3 and PC clients at the same time using the same account.

Take care adding the extra code to your account - the mogstation is not the most user friendly interface for registrations

Yes, this 100 times over. Be aware that if you add even more included ''trial'' days to your account - you will extend the wait for your Veteran rewards even further back. Poor design, but that is just how it works.

Just imagine your bro on the PS3... and you on the PC trying to do different things.... /cast CureStone...

I guess basically what I'm asking is, if I activate my PS3 copy (I already use FF14 on the PC), will it add 30 days on top of my 180 days that I already paid for today?

If I paid for 180 days, and received my rewards already, will adding a PS3 account give me 30 days on top of 180 days?

My understanding is that included game time from purchasing the game, will add to your already active included game time from your original purchase. So whatever is left of your original copy, plus the extra 30 days from the second purchase, would equal your total included time. If you wait until your first billing date - the day your initial included game time expires so that you become an active subscriber, your included time will extend your subscription time. If that makes any sense.

Yes - if they're already charged and show on Mogstation you'll have +30 days on top of it - e.g. 210 ...
