So my original account wasn't working. Couldn't subscribe after my free 2 weeks were up. I would put in the info and get error 601. So I thought, ok, maybe it's the region conflict or the fact that it wants Euros, but I only have dollars.
I buy the collector's edition again. Now, please, explain to me why I need to register the product on the Square Enix site AND the Account Services section. I have played almost every major MMO there's ever been and NO ONE has ever given me such a run around just to play the damn game.
So I buy the game again, I go through all the headache to get it properly registered. Then I try to pay a subscription... I get error 601 AGAIN. I even tried to do it on different browsers and got the same.
I would love to talk to customer service, but you have no phone number, the live chat is virtually impossible to get into and I have to sit here for hours to even try, and you have no way of directly contacting anyone who could answer my questions.
It would have taken 2 minutes to tell me what the problem was. But apparently even after all the games you've made, even after FF11, even after the shit-storm that was FF14 1.0, you still don't know what customer service is or how to handle these problems quickly. Any MMO company worth being called one has a phone service for their games. Does someone have to threaten violence to get you to understand that this is completely unacceptable?
Please forgive my uncontrollable anger, but I already dropped 100 dollars for the 1.0 Collector's Edition only to be insulted with what you called a finished product. I actually like 2.0 very much, which is only making me angrier that I can't play it now. Furthermore, I've had to buy a second copy, only to find out it was completely unnecessary. And what makes me even more angry is that I'm sure this isn't going to be read by anyone who can actually do anything to help me. And yes, I did submit ANOTHER (third time now) support ticket.
