Ok guys what happened did u really drift so far away from FF11 .. from level 1-40 my spells are the exact same Red and blue ball of light. then 10 levels from cap I get a Enormous change in spell graphic. And really black mage only difference is a single spell I almost NEVER use How about Meteor or a channeled spell or Something anything different Anything and Seriously the same looking robes the entire dam game unless I get a pair from a dungeon. How cheap did you guys go on funding your programmers no spell changes in graphics or changes in gear look or black mage only gear. Stop being so cheap go hire some Tech guys and programmers....

I have to start by saying that I have enjoyed my time spent as THM/BLM, that said, I must say that I agree with you when it comes to wishing there was a little more variety and class progression as I got to higher levels. When it comes right down to it most of us are simply alternating blue/red as necessary to balance damage with mana regen and throwing in thunder and other skills as necessary.

I do feel like they could have done much more with the BLM aspect of this particular DPS including spells centered around meteor, gravity spells, and demi spells (I am sure there are others I am missing). My guess would be that maybe they plan to add some of these with future expansions of the level caps? only time will tell.

how can u like it It is missing everything spells to chose from differences in combat hell I don't even use any of the extra spells at all that don't affect enough to matter... have u played any other mmos before..

Artists design how the game looks. Storyboarders and script writers design the theme. Programmers put all the pieces together to make it a functioning game.

Level 3 limit break is Meteor. And it's massive and looks amazing.. your whole group will agree it's just about the coolest thing since.. ever. Just sayin.

But no, in all seriousness, I'm pretty thrilled with the BLM playstyle and spell graphics. Spam Fire, looks cool.. little fiery explosion.. Firestarter proc = huge massive explosion (fire III).. transition to regen with pretty much encasing your target in a big block of ice (Blizzard III). It's all pretty cool looking. Thunder III looks cool as hell too. I can't complain at all about the BLM spell effects.

Yes, I will agree the rotation is simple.. red (repeat until OOM), blue, lightning, red (repeat until OOM).. but it looks really good. You can't deny that. Visually, seeing BLM's in a raid.. is just breathtaking if you care about that stuff. Compared to most other MMO's (I never played FFXI).. it's just amazing.
