    If you are having lag, Open a Ticket!

    As title suggests,

    I called technical support for FFXIV and the guy who answered was very nice, but he acted as if Latency was TOTALLY unheard of on FFXIV, and he even tried to tell me I needed to upgrade my Nvida 560 TI.

    Please put real tickets in for this, SE is dropping the ball on us and sweeping this under a rug.

    Open a ticket at the support site, and then call the number below! Do not stop posting about the issue until SE acknowledges. We're being had for our money!

    And what do you think contacting their customer support will do, except annoy people who have no control over this issue. Your best bet is to leave your post here, so the Developers can do something about their coding, or the Network OPs guys can optimize the servers. Contacting Customer Support will get you generic, canned, or scripted responses and just make it so the people that actually need help, can't get it.

    You're only hurting your community by flooding CS.

    You are actually right tort. He actually ended up saying to me to buy the latest graphics card from NVIDIA, I have a 560 TI and I always have 60 FPS, when I told him that fact and said that Graphics Cards don't generally cause ping to bat 5000 average, he said he was on the phone to long. I agree, calling is worthless, but I disagree about hurting the community.

    I think I was doing a service to them to keep them away from Ricardo.

    Spamming calls about this issue absolutely hurts the community when people that have real issues like hacked accounts can't get through.

    I've been experiencing lag for the past 3 days. It is especially prevalent when I am in primal fights and it when I am in the dungeons like Amdakor Keep. It's very strange that this just started occurring a few days ago.

    I have the same issue as Supergiz. Up until Thursday night my game ran fine with no issues at all. Now it's laggy. We had a technician come out (thinking it was our internet) but in the end everything was fine. It's not a computer issue as both computers running the game are high end gaming PC's.

    I have no lag issues, except for when I look at other character's movements. They always look laggy.

    No lag on my end whatsoever. No drops or errors. In my eyes. SE has made a huge leap in the quality of gaming since a few weeks ago. I no longer feel like I am being had for my money ( my sanity maybe). Just make sure you follow the advice on the forums for lag stuff.

    I did follow the forum advice. It has nothing to do with the p2p thing.
