although i kind of agree with you, it is this mentality that deterred SE from ever releasing official forums for FFXI, they didn't want to have to deal with doing that kind of thing, not a bias, just a hassle i think.

Well, that does call into question how committed they are to national servers.
When you make a game that has people from all over playing it, it is your responsibility to keep all your customers up to date regardless of what language they speak.
