I did not say SE should not post in their native language. It just makes sense that if you're going to post for an internationally released game, you want to give all your customers the information at once, not the japanese customers first. I think it's a matter of respect. Respect for the fact that we shelled out money for this game too and are also just as eager to hear what's going on, as opposed to saying, "It's not important, I'll tell you later." One thing I forgot to add is that they have the right to continue to do so, of course, just don't tell your fans to stop translating your posts if you won't release them in other languages simultaneously.

You pay for a game not for information, it is actually a privilege to have these insights on an almost continuous pace in the forums.

The lodestone main page is meant for official, structured information. I would expect the lodestone articles to be published more or less synchronously in the different languages.

On the other hand, the developers post themselves directly in the forums as soon as they feel that they have interesting and relevant info, then they translate to make this info available to the rest of the fanbase, I fail to see how this is a lack of respect towards players.
