Main problem I had with missions were the zones were sweet but like 80% of them were barely used outside of that because most of the mobs had retarded abilities.

And why are low level dungeons a bad idea? Players of ALL ranks need something to do/places to explore. I mean that would be bringing the FF feel to the game as well. Also whats wrong with having some dungeons being instanced areas while others normal open areas? Seriously I know I keep saying this but Blizzard does NOT have a patent on instances and world changing events, just because the most recognizable ones are in World of Warcraft. And Guild Wars is a totally different story, since that wasnt really an MMO in the traditional sense any more than Phantasy Star Online was.
I sincerely doubt that EVERYTHING will be instanced since this is still Square Enix and they still do things their own way, even if its something thats been done in the field before.

They should have hired a bilingual on call person. Get up, translate it, go to bed, get paid by the post. Very good job. Will only get called at night very infrequently if in Europe or Japan. I can call in any language translation in person within an hour to have a realtime discussion with someone if I have to, or at least can get them on the phone. The comments are not so serious to need Obama-level press release accuracy.
Where communication is key, you need instant comunication.
We will continue to run messages through google regardless.
What did we screw up anyway? Was the material thing all wrong?

What I think about when reading the replies to this thread is; how in the hell does everyone have so much time to play this game? Any content is good content, and SE can take all the time they need to put it out (no monthly fee as yet). I’m not in a race, I was on day 1, and I still don’t have a job over 40. Even with that, I feel like I play a bit too much sometimes. There are other games that can fill your time; now that you have everything to 50 you want; I just don’t get it, I guess. Maybe I’m getting to old to play these anymore, still enjoy the game but the community irritates me.
i think its because the communication is a bit weird sometimes (irritating) and rises too many expectations and/or leaves too much room for stupid interpretation. And if i think about the poll... it wasnt exactly a way to tell SE what i/we want imo.
You had very few choices and it was a lot black and white. So its only natural many ppl are disappointed.
The question about instanced dungeons was flat and i would have rather not answered it since some big events can be instanced and still be very good, and larger scale stuff can be very annoying if not instanced (i remember a lot of arguing if we got zonejacked by other ls in dynamis or limbus....). if these areas were instanced that wouldnt have happened and nobody would feel different about these zones, except you dont gather 30+ people only to find out that nothing happens today. Instancing too much on the other hand kills the rest of the world and makes it feel dead. but i dont really think they will do that , but well its only a suggestion, who knows...
another thing is.. people get impatient.
And i think thats only natural considering SE didnt listen in alpha and beta and was BShitting us in the first place...
The new team has a hard time now. But i can understand every ff fan that gets impatient, pissed or worried about how the game will develop.
In the end - nobody really knows what the game will become like and we can keep fighting and speculating til the content and patches arrive... thats something at least isn't it?
Yeah every thread I open these days has content so way out there that it's like reading a CNN article comment section about the endeavor launch only to somehow have most if the comments replying about cuba and bush's Guantanamo policies.
Wait, what? @!&$ing space shuttle, people. Focus.

Oh, the camps look like they have harvesting/ farming fields in them. Maybe a hint at what will come for Botanists one day![]()

				Dev team:
If you don't want people mis-translating information regarding upcoming patches, then the least you could do is translate the information to the four languages used by your customers before you release it. I don't appreciate the Japanese still getting preferential treatment as they did for ten years of XI. If you're going to accept paying customers from outside of Japan, then I expect that you treat the rest of the world equally.
The problem is not going to go away simply because you ask nicely for it to. I wouldn't expect people to wait patiently by, waiting for you to get around to translating everything.
XI: Walton [Gilgamesh/Carbuncle]
XIV: Walton Rowe [Figaro]
although i kind of agree with you, it is this mentality that deterred SE from ever releasing official forums for FFXI, they didnt want to have to deal with doing that kind of thing, not a bias, just a hassle i think.Dev team:
