This letter is good and all, I appreciate the screenshots, but every day we go without knowing about even the concepts of the battle system or the new job system, it really feels painful!

Seriously, you people will whine, complain, bitch and moan about anything any everything. Content is content, I'm happy for it. WoW didn't invent nor is it the only game to use lower than cap dungeons and quest hubs. In fact they've become a bit of a staple for the MMO genre, something that FFXIV happens to fall under.

What's the fun in leveling if all the cool content is for R50 and (eventually) up? They need to give those players something to do as well. Lower level dungeons and quest hubs are good for that.

Also they actually add a landmark structure to the "lolcopy/paste" scenery you've all been bitching about and now that's a problem too. People want content, the game needs content. If it's not the kind of content you want maybe it's a time to think about moving on.

We're also getting R50 dungeons Shiyo, who's to say those won't be the challenging content you're looking for? You're only focusing on the negative.

I was quite suprised that there was no mention of the strange events happening in the game now in the letter. I was hoping for some more information on what that is leading to.

Anyway, too bad for the relatively long wait, but if the update will be as fat as Yoshida seems tyo imply, I'm all for it. The screenies look great. I just hope the quests in thosehubs will be nice and varied
