Thats actually the "Graphic Missing" icon. which means the graphic that will be there is missing and not implemented yet. So these shots were from a rough test build.

Trolling. Most companies that make MMOs don't have any other projects but their MMORPG, so he's a bit confused on how real game development studios are set up.

lol FF XV? That dosen't even exist. FF XIII-2 and Versus XIII are being developed by seperate teams. Square Enix is a massive company. Most of the staff on XIV are from XI.

FF XIV couldn't be further from WoW if it tried. Every MMO has quest hubs even FF XI had quests. FF XIV will never be WoW, Square is to stubborn to copy another game anyway even if that game is the most succesful MMO ever made. They have their own ideas and that is what they will do even if those ideas are terrible. Square pays little attention to the competition, if they did FF XIV wouldn't be in the state it is right now.

Whether they are good Ideas or bad Ideas, I give my respect to SE for having their own originality. All they should do is add, alter, and tweak. That is what I see.

I think I'll work on getting my DoM and DoW up (since I only log in for few hrs to do leves), but then I'll stop playing and focus on some other mmorpgs that are coming out this year that seem to know what dedication and good production is. I'll always keep checking out xiv and updating, logging on on patches. But I dont expect this game to be fun for a while year. Maybe not even till its second year of release.

Thats just like the "Gm Button", its always there in SE UI Screenshots, Since Alpha.

You sure?, I've never seen it in screens before and its actually this icon.

Meaning they have yet to make an icon for the function, could be anything though.
